Trust us to always try and do things in the remotest destinations possible!

We've completed filming for the music video for "Loaded Gun", performed by acoustic rock duo Lloyd & Bruno. The band was awesome, the gear was great, the DOP was great, but the location...hell what a challenge! The last few days' rain had turned our shooting location at a military training area outside Potchefstroom into a bit of a jungle and getting all the gear and the crew to the site turned into a challenge.

But we pulled it off anyway, filming non-stop from Thursday evening (10/3) to Friday morning around 2:30 AM.

Above: Power in the bundu...power for the shoot was supplied by three generators that ran non-stop from 15:00 to 3:00 the next morning

Tech support, power and lighting for the project was supplied by Fritz de Jager from Bottomside Productions and the man is a lifesaver! The shoot reached well into the night and the early morning hours of the following day and Fritz kept everything going without a hitch.

Above: Monkey man...DOP Eduan Kitching films a closeup shot of L&B frontman Bruno dos Santos. Fritz de Jager is providing support. Fritz kept the dollie wheels rolling, the lights shining and the DOP from injuring himself!

Above: Realistic props. Oh yes, the assault rifle is real

Above: Images from the documentary were projected on the walls of the bunker behind the band

Above: The music video was shot on a dollie-mounted Canon 5D DSLR. The footage looks awesome

The music video is currently in post-production and if Eduan's 5D footage is anything to go by, this video is going to be something spectacular.
